Apr. 14th, 2012 12:49 amTitle: And the mystery of life goes on (Subject to Change)
Fandom: Resident Evil
Characters: Rebecca Chambers, Enrico Marini
Genre: Alternate Universe
Warning: None that I can think of
Spoilers: Remake and Zero
Summary: The Mansion Incident... goes differently.
Notes: Work in Progress
( After roughly twenty-four hours of killing monsters, Rebecca Chambers wants nothing more than to go to sleep. Until the end of the world sounds nice. Or maybe even longer. )

Fandom: Resident Evil
Characters: Rebecca Chambers
Genre: character study, missing scene
Warning: None that I can think of
Spoilers: Remake and Zero
Summary: Memorial day comes and goes.
Notes: I wrote this in 2003 and for some reason, it never got posted anywhere other than lj. Re-reading it, I don't like the flow and there are a couple of repetitive snarls. But the idea behind it is something I keep coming back to. You make it your job to save people, and you can't save anyone. How do you deal with survivor's guilt on a citywide scale? By focusing on the faces you knew.

Heavy Metal AU
Mar. 5th, 2012 01:36 amTitle: N/A
Fandom: Resident Evil
Characters: Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, Excella Gionne
Genre: AU, SciFi
Warning: None that I can think of
Spoilers: Wildly, massively AU
Summary: Resident Evil with scifi trappings. An attempt to make a world out of Chris' RE5 Heavy Metal Alt Costume.
Notes: WIP Amnesty, so missing scenes galore.
( Medics are hard to find on the front lines. There were quite a few, back when the conflict began. Back when it was a mission of revenge, to take back what had been stolen in the night. Before it became a mad scramble to hold on to what they'd managed to keep when the first wave hit. )

( The trick, Jill had discovered, to dealing with ghosts was not to startle them. )

I gave myself an hour to write, so it stops where it stops. I also think I fail at present tense consistency.
Prompt from Lyric Prompts on tumblr.
"I’m going to die in a place that don’t know my name."
Lonely Soul - Unkle
The summons comes, as it always does, right at the cusp of moonrise. She should feel anger or annoyance at the sheer repetitiveness of it all, but as she passes under the crumbling arches of the mausoleum, she is simply greatful to feel the crush of grass beneath her feet and the pulse of life hiding in the cracks and crevasses of the graveyard around her. The sensation soon passes, but she's always appreciative for the taste of it.
